Alright, let’s talk about posing! As your photographer, I’m here to guide you through some tips that will help you look and feel your absolute best in these portraits.
First and foremost, good posture is key. I want you to stand up nice and tall, with your shoulders back and relaxed. No slouching or hunching – that can create some unflattering angles. Instead, imagine there’s a string at the top of your head, gently pulling you upwards.
Now, let’s talk about your chin. You’ll want to lift it just slightly, but not too high. We don’t want any double chins happening here! The goal is to find that sweet spot where your face looks sculpted and defined.
Another helpful tip is to turn your body slightly to the side, rather than facing the camera head-on. This creates more dimension and can be really slimming. Just a subtle twist of your torso is all it takes.
And for your hands, try putting them in your pockets with just a finger or thumb peeking out. Or you can lightly touch your face. Anything but rigid, stiff hands – we want to keep things relaxed and natural-looking.
Throughout the session, I’ll be right here providing gentle guidance and encouragement. I might even demonstrate the poses myself so you can easily mirror me. The key is to feel comfortable and confident. The more at ease you are, the more natural your poses will be.
So take a deep breath, relax those shoulders, and let’s create some amazing portraits together! I’m here to make sure you look and feel your absolute best.
